Evicted
Mini review of Evicted by Matthew Desmond
This is the first book in a start of a run of non-fiction that reads like fiction. This particular book bounces back and forth between people who are almost never in the same home for more than a few months. It's a fascinating read, and balances some of the more difficult characters well.
The reader is left to make up their own mind, however it's clear that by digging into a single problem in such a considered way, the author wants to make a point. An insight into a life that others (myself included) can never fully understand, and incredibly interesting because of it.
