Project Hail Mary
While this book starts off in a similar vein to The Martian, Weir's previous book, this is much grander in scope. There's still a lot of technical information to go through as the protagonist solves the questions and problems that come up, but it's a book that is unashamedly ambitious, while still taking place in a confined environment.
Absolute great fun, and although the twists at the end don't all land as well as they might have done, I very much enjoyed reading this, and polished it off very quickly!
