The Midnight Library

Mini-review of The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
The Midnight Library

Oh what a lovely book. Yes it’s a little cliched and little self help, but it hits the spot. It’s well written and short and concise. I can see why it did so well.

The main thing that bothered me was the amount of exposition every time the main character tried a new life. It‘s needed to keep the speed up, but it occasionally grates and feels unnatural.

Very much recommended if you need a pick me up or feel a bit down.

Not a bookshelf book, but close.
